A Meissen group of opera singers
perhaps in the rle of Acis and Galatea, after a model by J.J.Kaendler, the male singer wearing plumed helmet and skirted coat, his companion a dress pannier painted with flowers reserved on a yellow ground with pink train, modelled standing side by side on a flower-encrusted base, blue crossed swords mark and incised 543, late 19th century (some damage) -- 25cm. high
