A WELL-CARVED YELLOW JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE AND COVER
18th Century
Carved as a ewer issuing from the back of a hooked-nose dragon/carp which forms the base, with two lively chilong clambering around the shoulder where one peers over the rim, and with an archaistic dragon scroll handle to one side, the cover with a dragon handle and two small whorl-carved buttons, the stone of greenish-yellow tone with some milky brown and russet coloring
