Refer to two 'bowls', each with three brown-glazed containers, included in the Catalogue of the exhibition, The Masterpieces of Yaozhou Ware, Japan, 1997 - 1998, nos. 51 and 52. The shape of the box may be compared to the Yaozhou ware box with a similar domed cover included in the Catalogue of the exhibition, Imperial Taste: Chinese Ceramics from the Percival David Foundation, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1989, no, 10. See, also, the qingbai cosmetic box containing three small cups with branches from the Mount Trust included in the exhibition, The Ceramic Art of China, Victoria and Albert Museum, 9 June - 25 July 1971, and illustrated in T.O.C.S., vol. 38, pl. 85.
