AN UNUSUAL PALE BLUE-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE, HU
18th Century
Made in imitation of an archaic bronze form and covered with a ru-type glaze, with a bowstring band on either side between the pair of angular loop handles, covered overall with a glaze of pale blue tone pooling a little on the spreading pedestal foot above the unglazed rim covered with a dark wash
