The later rectangular plate within a channelled frame applied with foliate scrolls, surmounted by an Imperial Eagle with outstretched wings issuing oak leaf branches, with a typed paper label: This is one of six frames bearing the Imperial Eagle, which were presented by Napoleon I to his Marshal Bernadotte, (later King of Sweden) and in 1817 they passed from the Royal Prince of Sweden to General Suchtelen
