The circular white-enamelled dial with Arabic and Roman chapter ring foliate spandrels, within a pedimented hood with pierced and scroll strapwork panels centering a circular medallion depicting a classical male profile above an arched glazed door flanked by canted rectangular columnar uprights with Corinthian capitals, the case with an egg-and-dart edge above a ribbon-entwined foliate-carved door centered by a trellis-pierced panel, the fluted waist above a berried husk-carved edge, the bomb base with a cartouche suspended from laurel branches, on acanthus scrolled feet, with label printed 018819, dial re-enamelled
