wearing traditional robes, holding a covered bowl on a tray, and another similar carving of a boy with his arms outstretched -- 2in. (7cm) high, max., oval wood stand; and a Chinese pewter rectangular box and hinged cover inset with a brown lacquer panel carved with flowers and foliage and further inset with a carved ivory plaque of a lady holding a basket and wearing long robes -- 8in. (20.3cm) wide, both 19th Century. (2)
