A set of twelve Chinese buff pottery zodiac figures
each modelled as a standing dignitary variously holding a rat, an ox, a tiger, a rabbit, a dragon, a snake, a horse, a goat, a monkey, a cockerel, a dog and a pig, all the figures wearing long flowing robes and tabbed hats, traces of red and black pigments remaining -- 6in. (17.1cm.) high, Ming Dynasty, (some damages and old wear).
