Hand-blown glass bottle. New chteau capsule (slightly damaged) and label (very bin-soiled). Cork very slightly protruding beneath capsule. Believed reconditioned at the chteau in 1987. Level base of neck
Tasting note from the Overton tasting May 1979: The colour was fabulous: bright, warm, paleish provencal-tile-red; bouquet gentle and fragrant, the initial touch of ivy-leaf decay cleared and it developed a soft, warm wholemeal biscuity character; dry, lightish yet still a bit of meatiness. ***** M.B.
