The 2.5 acre Grand Cru vineyard of La Romane is the smallest AC in France. It is sited just above Romane-Conti and is bordered to the north by Richebourg. La Romane is made by Forey Pre on behalf of the owners the Ligier-Belair family, it is then matured in 100 new oak casks in the cellars of Bouchard Pre who are responsible for bottling the wine.
La Romane resembles the wines of Richebourg most being deeply coloured, rich and concentrated with abundant fruit, body and tannin
