In the form of a sand glass, with dial and movement to the top, rising and supported on a sprung strut, silvered Roman dial with blued steel beetle and poker hands, the single barrel key-less wind movement with gilt platform to lever escapement, housed in screw-off drum case, with trefoil shuttered winding hole to rear of the case
