The case surmounted a group of an amorino playing with a ram, with Svres style porcelain panels to the sides and front below painted with flowers and amorini, on base cast with a lobed gallery and toupie feet, the white enamel Roman dial with Arabic five minutes (chipping to winding holes), pierced gilt-metal hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell (lacking)
