The case with later foliate cast finial to the chamfer top, brass cornucopia ring handles to the sides above fishscale sound frets, the brass-lined base resting on brass ball feet with fluted caps to the front and ebonised feet to the rear, replaced rear door, the re-painted dial signed GOODHUGH 126 Regent St. London, strike/silent lever above XII, with steel crescent moon hands, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate with engraved border (lacks securing screw), top possibly re-built
