Mller with pierced brass hands (one replaced) and front-swinging pendulum within a giltwood and gesso stiff leaf carved bezel and surmounted by the figure of a polychrome wood seated soldier, the single train movement with verge escapement falling down typical toothed iron rack mounted on a later green and brown painted backboard; basically late 18th or early 19th century
