The case with brass pineapple finial to the chamfer top and ebonised ripple mouldings, with brass fishscale sound frets to the sides below wreath and ring handles (one ring lacking), with brass-lined fielded panels to the front between brass-inlaid angles (losses to one side), on brass ball feet, the white painted dial signed PLUMBY & TUPMAN New Cavendish St. LONDON, with cut steel guilloche and crescent moon hands, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, pull trip repeat, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate with engraved border
