The gilt-brass case with white marble top and base (minor chips), with foliate engraved gilt-brass mask to the dials, time dial with outer white enamel seconds ring with blued steel hand, eccentric Roman hour and minute chapter disc with retail signature J.SILVANI 13 & 14 KING'S ROAD BRIGHTON (slightly rubbed), recessed centre with visible Brocot escapement with jewelled pallets, the calendar dial below with outer month ring and inner concentric equation of time ring, indicated by blued steel arrow hand, the recessed centre inscribed PATENT and with subsidiary rings for day of week and date below a penny moonphase, the twin barrel movement within rectangular plates and with gridiron pendulum and strike on bell, with repeat retail signature to the backplate also numbered 19454, with connecting work from main movement to the calendar work below with repeat number
