The case with brass-capped swan neck pediment and outset columns, the banded and arched three-quarter trunk door flanked by fluted three-quarter pilasters and with panel below, with conforming panel to the plinth raised on bracket feet, the 12in. square brass dial with bird and urn spandrels to the brass chapter ring signed Wilmshurst Deal, matted centre and steel hands, the four pilar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
