Woven in wools and silks, depicting Le Cheval Fondu, with four youths in the centre foreground, to the left a single figure and to the right a seated maiden with a child, within a wooded landscape and an altar in the forest with a pole with a grotesque head, the left with a building and the background with a bridge and buildings beyond, within a later florally-wrapped column border and later blue outer slip, areas of reweaving and patching
