Worked with an elegant couple in the centre, possibly Charles I and Henrietta Maria, with a crowned lion, unicorn, dragon and stag in each corner, a double headed eagle and the sun above, a mermaid below, with stylised floral sprigs and a building to one side, the ground densely embroidered with gilt coloured sequins each with a small attached clear bead, framed and glazed
