The royal blue field with rows of stylised flowering plants around a central coat of arms of the Bega family in a red and blue border of stylised bird, animal and floral motifs, made of three panels sewn together, minute areas of wear, minor areas of repiling

Lot Essay

The coat-of-arms are those of the 'Bega' family of Spain, (Vide: 'Amoril General' by J-B Rietstap, vol. 1, p.151).
