The moulded rectangular dentilled cornice above a fluted frieze and a pair of geometrically-glazed doors enclosing three sliding shelves, the lower section with a long secretaire-drawer enclosing a fitted interior with eleven pigeon-holes, eight mahogany-lined small drawers and a green baize-lined writing-surface, the front of the small drawers and pigeon-holes serpentine shaped, above a pair of concave cut-corner panelled doors, the corners with foliate patera, enclosing three sliding trays, on later bracket feet, the top moulding of the cornice, the lower part of the apron moulding and the bracket feet replaced
