The shaped rectangular plate with pierced scrolling frame with mirrored borders, flanked by ho-ho birds, the cresting with asymetrical fruiting cartouche, above a C-scroll apron, with traces of water gilding and now with gold paint, lacking some peripheral carving
97 in. x 57 in. (246.5 cm. x 145 cm.)
Provenance
Possibly acquired by Isabella Shepheard, Marchioness of Hertford (d. 1834) for Temple Newsam House, Leeds and by descent (see note to lot 30).
