With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, bi-metallic balance, the white enamel dial with luminous arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, contained in an inner hinged case with snap-on back, within a 9K two piece outer case with screwed bezel and wire lugs, case, dial and movement signed.

Lot Essay

This watch was also a pre-cursor to the Oyster and an improvement to the Dennison case as the movement was fully enclosed. However, the disadvantage was that the case had to be unscrewed in order to wind the watch.
