'Pebbles and Leaves' is a new pattern only known from this one example. it bears a similarity in design to the 'Pebbles' pattern which was produced between 1929 and 1930. The hand-painted Newport Pottery mark suggests that this piece was a trial and thus possibly not put into full scale production.
