This dramatic depiction of the famous transatlantic liner has always been recognised as a classic of the Art Deco movement. This particular rare version was done for the maiden voyage in May 1935, which set a transatlantic crossing record. The ship weighed 83,400 tons and could do 30 knots, and was the biggest and fastest ship afloat when it was launched.
