A 13 inch (33cm.) diameter terrestrial relief globe made up of twelve raised colour lithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equator graduated in degrees, no ecliptic, the oceans showing trade winds and ocean currents, with details such as the extent of Antarctic packice and ocean depths shown, the continents with papier-mch 'raised' mountian ranges and boundaries deliniated in bright red (some old abrasions in the Pacific, surface discolouration over India), with cast aluminium meridian half circle on turned ebonised wood column and plinth base
