A mid 19th century wood and metal display model of a Royal Naval Frigate
With bound masts, yards with foot ropes, standing and running rigging, carved warrior figurehead, hair rails, anchors, catheads, belaying rails and pins, bitts, ship's bell with canopy, gratings, capstan, companionways, stern lantern and other details, the hull finished in white, yellow and black with red upper works (discolouration), with carved and decorated stern and quarter galleries and much 'gilded' decoration, stand and mahogany framed inlaid glazed case and stand
