Maker's mark of Gorham, Coin, no. 90, circa 1860
Long necked urn form, on beaded rim base, the sides with two broad engine-turned bands, with engraved shell band at mid section, the neck twice with shield form cartouche, one engraved with initials, with foliate spray above, with part foliate scroll spout and handle, the hinged, partly high domed cover topped by conical finial, the rim applied with bead at intervals--10in. (27.3cm.), high, gross weight 28oz.
