A VICTORIAN SILVER CENTERPIECE
Maker's mark of TT pellet, possibly that of Thomas Twist, Birmingham, 1866
The incurved pedestal base on three scroll feet applied with foliage enclosing three vacant cartouches, rising to a stem with acanthus and cartouches at intervals, three scroll brackets, the second tier with a etched-glass dish, the lower tier lacking dish, the central standard surmounted by an openwork scroll, acanthus and cartouche stem supporting a glass vase with flaring rim and issuing three scroll branches supporting etched-glass circular dishes--Overall height 31in. (79.3cm.) high; 39oz.
