the shaped brass arm stamped on one side I, the other W (James Wilson), the screw-barrel with sprung-loaded brass stage and slide holder, baluster-turned handle, a numbered set of seven (of eight) bead glass objectives (number 6 missing, number 1 damaged), numbers 2, 3 and 5 with screw-on dust caps, numbers 7 and 8 objective lenses differently mounted, with specimen holder, mica disc container, a set of ten ivory sliders, two with windows for two specimens, the others with windows for three specimens, contained in a fishskin-covered case, and other items, in green plush-lined fitted shallow-domed fishskin-covered case -- 7.3/8in. (18.7cm.) wide
