An 18th-Century brass universal equinoctial ring dial,
signed on the meridian ring Shuttleworth LONDON, further engraved with two quadrants, the other side with declination scale, the meridian ring divided with hour scale I-XII twice, with subdivisions for 10 minutes of time, the bridge with pin-hole sight, zodiac and calendar scales, the sliding suspension with ring -- 6in. (15.2cm.) diameter
