(12.7cm.) diameter dark glass mirror mounted on a lead base and enclosed within a lacquered-brass tripod mount, engraved Bureau des Longitude and fitted with three adjustable screw feet, with graduated lacquered-brass cased bubble level with three feet and adjustment key, in the original fitted mahogany case -- 8in.
