The handle of translucent deep blue enamel surmounted by the realistically decorated helmet of the Cavalier Life Guards Regiment with crowned double-headed eagle, the shaped pedestal with shaped gadrooned bowl and spreading foot with chased acanthus band, the stem engraved with the date '26 III 1904', the base with agate matrix with the italic initial 'A', marked on foot
