Apollo and Daphne

The figures of Apollo and Daphne are taken from Albani's painting of the same subject in the Louvre (no. 18), although the composition differs in the landscape, as well as in the addition in the present picture of the figure of Daphne's father, the river god, Peneus, in the lower left.
