A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION IN FRENCH of Le Brun's copiously illustrated Voyages. Le Brun, encouraged by the success of his Voyage au Levant (see lot ???????) began his journey to Moscow and Persia in 1701, returning to Holland in 1708. He was one of the first to describe the Samoyeds and their country. Also included are large folding panoramas of 'Moscow' (on 3 sheets) and 'Spahan' (on 3 sheets).
