In the sections joined by bayonet joints, the domed pierced base resting on three double hoof feet radiating from the everted lower rim, the dome pierced with a band of palmette vine interlace, a band of kufic inscription above, the cylindrical shaft with large rounded boss above and below, the shaft pierced and inlaid with a band of geometric interlace enclosing lozenge motifs between two bands of bold openwork benedictoryu kufic, the bosses with linked roundels containing lozenges, the upper tray engraced with a central harpy roundel within a band of naskh inscription interrrupted by roundels, the exterior rim with similar kufic inscription and roundels, upper section rubbed
