WEST ANATOLIA, SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY
The rust-red field with a central small vase issuing a column of radiating quatre fleurs motifs comprising tulips, carnations, hyacinths and peonies, within a gabled arched blue band of angular vine and re-entrant base issuing floral sprays, the sea-green spandrels with angular flowering vine, an upper inscription cartouche cross-panel and lower arcaded cross-panel, in an ivory border of rosettes and meandering floral sprays between indigo and dark brown floral meander and minor S-motif stripes, even overall wear, slight loss of outer stripe, a couple of minute old repairs
