The raspberry-red field with a counterposed design of delicate scrolling meandering arabesque and leafy vine issuing polychrome palmettes together with split palmettes and cloudband-motifs, in an indigo border of large palmettes divided by similar smaller palmettes linked by leafy vine between mustard floral meander and barber-pole stripes, areas of restoration, minute holes, field and border of very low pile, selvages replaced, partial loss at each end, areas of tinting
