A famille rose armorial octagonal soup plate
painted and gilt with a central coat of arms and the motto 'Virtute Duce' within a border of chain and floral designs -- 9in. (23cm.) wide; a Chinese Imari lobed teapot painted and gilt with scrolling peonies and chrysanthemums -- 3in. (8.9cm.) high; a miniature Yixing teapot and cover incised with calligraphy -- 1in. (3.1cm.) high; an Arita blue and white dish painted with a jardiniere of flowers, all within a border of floral panels -- 12in. (31.8cm.) diam; and a teapot and cover modelled as a conch shell -- 3in. (8.9cm.) high, 18th and 19th Century.
The arms are of Elder, circa 1775.
