of shaped oval outline on a pierced galleried foot, pierced around the sides and embossed with festoons of foliage and flowers, below a gadrooned rim, the swing handle with a feather-edge, pierced with scrolls and crosslets, the centre engraved with a coat of arms within a leafy scroll cartouche, by H.Tudor & T.Leader, Sheffield 1774* - 86ccm long, 21.25oz.
* The Sheffield Assay office was opened in 1773.
