Lot Essay

Sitters include Professor Graham 'Master of the Mint', Alfred S. Taylor, the Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, Professor Michael Faraday F.R.S. including one of him with Professor Daniell conducting experiments (illus.), Dr. Billing F.R.S., William Longman, Sir Edwin Landseer and John Ruskin.
