Portfolio numbered 179 from an edition of 500 containing 166 (of 170) collotype plates, including one two-part and four three-part panoramas, 8 x 21 in. and 10 x 39 in., other sizes to approx. 11 x 14 in. or the reverse, each with printed title and plate number in English, Japanese and Chinese, and Copyright 1906 by the Imperial Museum of Tokyo in margin, tissue guards, bound pages with printed list of plates and explanatory notes in English, Japanese and Chinese, preface by the Imperial Museum of Tokyo and title page, in two decorative Chinese cloth-bound folios with brown silk flaps, each titled The Imperial City of Peking China on front cover, string ties, 19 x 15 in.
