Third Quarter 18th Century
The rectangular top with cube parquetry and three square raised plinths above a dentil-molded cornice and frieze with applied foliate motif over a pair of panelled and mirror-glazed doors with fretwork mullions flanked by fluted Ionic half-columns, the sabicu interior with four valanced pull-out pigeonholes masking secret compartments flanked by a pair of deep drawers over a range of four short drawers above two short and four long graduated drawers, the interior with overall chequered stringing, the stand with blind-fretwork-carved frieze over straight square legs headed by pierced fretwork brackets, on spreading block feet
