inlaid in high relief in bone and ivory with a butterfly in flight beside a blossoming chrysanthemum spray -- 17in. (44.4cm) X 29in. (75cm), sealmark, mounted in a wood frame carved with flowers; and another inset in bone, ivory and mother-of-pearl, carved in high relief with an eagle perched amongst prunus above a sparrow in flight, mounted in a painted and lacquered frame modelled as a torii -- 34in. (88.3cm) high, both 19th Century. (2)
