A French mahogany and gilt-metal mounted music cabinet, late 17th century
in the Aesthetic taste, the castellated top between flattened finials and incised decoration above a shelf with galleried sides, and a further projecting shelf below, on spirally fluted and turned uprights, with a pair of bevelled glazed doors and an open tier below, on bun feet, bearing a label to the reserve A.Chevrie, Fabricant de Meubles de Style et D'Ebenifterier de 7 rue de Barque, Quartier de Archives a Paris, et devant 11 rue Portforin Medaille de Bronze 1878 -- 20in.
