Both pairs painted with an overall decoration showing a man playing the qin in an interior accompanied by a child seated under the table, two ladies standing under a willow tree in a fenced garden, all below a trellis-diaper band, the first pair 24.8 cm. diam.; the Japanese Arita pair with a karashishi on the reverse, 23 cm. diam.
