A rare blue and white 'European Subject' ewer
Early Kangxi, circa 1680
The pear-shaped hexagonal sides painted with a nude figure, possibly after a European engraving, seated on a stone amidst a rich vegetation, one side showing him raising a sickle above his head, the other side with a flower, curved handle and long straight spout with bracket (frittings, small repair to the bracket)
