A Kakiemon incense burner
19th Century
Decorated in iron-red, blue, green, yellow and black enamels and gilt, the hexagonal sides with alternately flowering bamboo, prunus and pine, below a band of shaped demi-kiku-heads, repeated on the domed pierced cover moulded with a basket-weave design, applied with tubular handles, supported on six small shaped feet (minute chip to one handle)
