A Satsuma part tea service
Meiji Period, with seal Cho Shuzan
Comprising a set of six cups and saucers, a teapot and cover 14.5 cm. high, a milk-jug and cover 10.5 cm. high and a sugar pot and cover 11 cm. high, decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt with cockerels below narrow bands of geometric design, the handles and spouts in gilt, the covers with flowers (some rubbing to the gilt) (15)
