A pair of bronze models of Buddhistic lions on rectangular bases
Late Qing Dynasty
Cast in mirror image, seated on their haunches with a frontpaw resting on a ball and cub, the fierce-looking faces with open mouth and bulging eyes, tightly curled eyebrows and manes, tasselled collar with pendants, both on a cloth draped diagonally over the rectangular base worked with various patterns
